A Visit for Charlie prt. 4 Some time had passed since Olivia was brought back to Charlie’s cottage. She lay unconsciously under the shade of an oak until Samson happened upon her while he gathered acorns and pine cones from various trees. Shocked by her bloodied face, he wasted no time to bolt back to Charlie and to tell him what he found. Only moments later, the overly apprehensive elf went out to retrieve Olivia’s seemingly lifeless body from the woods. Though he was not expecting her to come back to him as soon as she did, he was relieved to see her again, but her current state made the reunion bittersweet. | Greetings, infidels! >8D Prepare to have your very eyes disintegrate upon viewing my Gallery of Horror! D: I am not perfect. Whether I draw or write, it is not perfect. I'm not the best artist in the world nor do I claim/strive to be. My art is not what I would call "serious". I do things for fun and not for popularity. I'm not an expert in anything besides being myself and if you don't like it, that's too bad. I'm aware that I need some brushing up on my drawing; it's not the best. Hell, I don't even like it too much, but that doesn't keep me from trying. It's a learning experience and I feel as though I'm doing the best I am able at the moment. Looking back at previous art attempts, I can say that I've evolved into a better artist than I was when I started to really draw. As I've said, I don't draw for popularity, but for the hell of it. It's relaxing and it gives me a chance to try my hand at different drawing styles. It's fun, too! So, give this novice artist a chance to truly prove herself and to show off what she can do... Whatever that may be. |
Taking a short break...
I honestly wanted to get rid of the previous journal.... Anyway! Still no internet for me... Not sure if I'll ever get it back >.< Mom won't let me help her pay for thr phone bill and I'm stuck with my cell phone for a while. Thus, I'm taking a break from dA for a bit. I'll still peek in every once in a while to see what you guys have submitted in, but I won't be able to submit art myself. =/
